Agile-Lean International 2020 conference

In case you have not heard, there is a war on for talented people. Companies that want to win need to act with courage and swift, easy grace. Sadly, these attributes are not often associated with HR recruiting. Traditional recruiting came out of World War II and is process laden and slow. No one could argue that recruiting is ripe for reinvention in the digital era we live in. But how to do it? We experimented with applying Agile principles and practices to the recruiting process and had some very interesting results. For example, by enabling recruiters to focus (aka limiting work-in-progress), we cut time-to-hire (cycle time) in half. This talk tells the story of the journey and leaves with recommendations for HR professionals who want to gain recruiting agility.
