Need to say more? We are seeing over and over how "Agile" is understood as "work faster, deliver more" (even in the titles of books by, ahem, well known authors). Signatories of the manifesto have recently described Agile as "a devastated wasteland [...] a few religious rituals carried out by people who don’t understand the purpose that those rituals were intended to serve in the first place".

So... Is it over? Was everything just another fad? Do we wait for the next big thing?

Hopefully, not! We are seeing how top-notch companies are beating their competitors over and over by staying true to those principles: deliver early and frequently, maximize value, reduce waste, adatp do feedback, reflect and improve... Above all, understand your purpose, focus on your customer and honor your people.
