April K. Mills, an engineer-turned-change-evangelist, is an energizing global voice on change agency, change engagement, and accelerating sustainable results.  She’s a decorated former civilian nuclear engineer for the U.S. Navy and her change work has been praised by John Kotter and incorporated into his 2016 book, Accelerate.
April is the founder of Engine-for-Change.com and author of Everyone is a Change Agent: A Guide to the Change Agent Essentials and is writing her second book, Change Tactics: What To Try When What You’ve Always Done Stops Working. She’s consulted for Intel and Delta and has keynoted events worldwide.
April invests the proceeds from her book sales into Gully Crest Homestead, a retreat center she is building in rural Washington state for families with children with special needs. She’s received community awards for expanding community child care and building beyond accessible playgrounds.

April lives in Washington state with her husband, four children, and ever-expanding menagerie of animals, including dogs, cats, ducks, and more.
